Chris Martin brought to Coldplay gig to a halt on Thursday when a fan in the audience decided to join in and play tambourine.
Coldplay were playing 'The Scientist' when a lady in the audience took out a tambourine and started to bash along.
'I don't mean to be rude,' Martin told the woman. 'This is not a tambourine song'.
He added, 'don't take this to be some kind of anti-tambourine rally or rant against the tambourine. It's one of my favourite instruments.'
Coldplay were performing for Mencap's Little Noise Sessions.
