Lily Allen is on a 'total high' since the birth of her baby daughter, says a source.

The British star gave birth to Ethel Mary in November.

Lily has suffered with depression in the past, and was worried about how a little one would affect her lifestyle.

However, sources close to star says her worries were unfounded.

'Lily can't believe how perfect things are. She was anxious she might get post-natal depression because of her history, but despite being exhausted, she's on a total high,' a friend of the star told British magazine Closer.

Lily is reportedly keen to drop the extra pounds she gained while pregnant. The 26-year-old songstress doesn't want an extreme diet and exercise plan though.

'Lily ate well during her pregnancy and didn't go on a diet the minute she gave birth like a lot of celebs,' the insider said.

'She never wanted to do a hardcore weight-loss regime, but she's starting to think she's got no choice. Yet she's saying she'll 'ease' herself into it.'

Nicole Richie's daughter cried 'tears of joy' at her birthday party.

Harlow, Nicole's first child with husband Joel Madden, turned four-years-old last week.

Nicole and Joel threw a lavish Disney's Toy Story themed party to celebrate their daughter's milestone.

Harlow seemed flushed with emotion at the bash.

"Harlow started crying when everyone sang happy birthday and Joel said she was crying tears of joy," an onlooker told Us Weekly magazine.

Harlow's party was attended by 35 children. The tykes were entertained by their favourite characters from the film, including Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear.

Partygoers were fed pizza, juice and a sugar-free confection produced by baker to the stars Cake Diva.

Attendees seemed to be having an excellent time.

"Everyone had a blast and Joel and Nicole said it was their best kids party yet," another insider detailed.

Gavin Rossdale, Sara Gilbert, Rachel Zoe and Tobey Maguire's wife Jen Meyer brought themselves and their children along to the bash.

Nicole and Joel also have two-year-old son Sparrow together.

Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles' newborn baby daughter is already making music history.
Blue Ivy Carter was born on Saturday but thanks to her gurgles and cries heard at the end of her father's new track, Glory, she is already making her mark in the entertainment industry.
The track, which Jay-Z recorded a short time after the bundle of joy was born, is set to appear on Billboard's chart next week at No. 74.
By then Blue Ivy will be less than two weeks old and will make her the youngest ever person to appear on a chart.
Jay-Z's heartfelt tune has emotional lyrics about what his new bundle of joy means to him and listed the track as featuring B.I.C.
'The most amazing feeling I feel, Words can't describe what a feeling, for real, Baby I'll paint the sky blue, My greatest creation was you,' he raps.
Ironically, the song is Jay-Z's 107th entry in the charts which mirrors Blue Ivy's birthday of January 7th ' 1/07.
Stevie Wonder also showcased his baby daughter Aisha's coos on his son Isn't She Lovely but she was not a named person on the track.
